2007 SPONSORSHIP and HOSPITALITY OPPORTUNITIES
Working through the vehicle of
promotions at Corbin Speedway, the tremendous popularity of short
track asphalt racing, and the family-oriented attractions of the
motorsports facility, sponsors will receive prime exposure.
Excitement, brand loyalty, and
increased sales are the benefits of any participation in stock car
racing, as evidenced by the wholehearted and enthusiastic support
afforded the sport by such companies as Nextel, United Parcel
Service, Lowe's, Home Depot, Pennzoil, Valvoline, Kodak, Pfizer,
Kellogg's, AllTel, Caterpillar, and duPont, as well as the Miller,
Busch, and Coor's brewing companies and many others.
The loyalty of stock car
racing fans toward those who sponsor events in their favorite sport
is well documented. Several surveys have indicated that racing fans
very frequently consider involvement in sport when making choices
between companies and brands.
Corbin Speedway, located in
Corbin, Ky., has a 50-year-old auto racing legacy. The banked
quarter-mile asphalt track has been operated continuously since
1952. This track hosted the NASCAR Grand National Division, now the
Nextel Cup Series, in 1954, to earn the honor of presenting the
first NASCAR race ever held in Kentucky, and the only facility in
the commonwealth to host NASCAR's premier division.
The track can comfortably seat
1,200 spectators, and has pit parking for approximately 75 race cars
and haulers, with additional space being planned. The track sits on
about 16 acres of level land in a mixed-use area of commercial and
residential property.
This brochure outlines some of
the sponsorship and other opportunities available to companies and
organizations through Corbin Speedway. We feel that we can offer
something for everyone, and something within everyone's budget
capabilities.
Bear in mind that when your
customers, clients, employees, or guests attend an event at this
facility, under your sponsorship, they will be watching LOCAL
drivers and race teams participating - many of them friends and
relatives. These people are, naturally, also potential customers
who will hopefully react favorably to your involvement in the sport.
